The Leak
This was inspired by the story of a housewife who experienced a terrible despair and ennui, but never let on to her husband and children about it. Made using a blend of Illustrator and Photoshop.
Ready to SMS

A website for an Australian online bulk SMS provider. I did the web design and the animation that appears on the front page.

Seep

Website: HRAFF

A detailed, animated Flash website that I made with my design partner and friend Aimee. It was for the 2007 Human Rights Arts and Film Festival. I did the interface design and coding, and some of the graphics, animation, and concept development. I'm currently working on the design for the 2008 HRAFF website, which should be live sometime in September 08.
Website: Breathing Earth
Breathing Earth is a CO2 emissions, birth rate and death rate simulation that displays the co2 emission rates, birth rates, and death rates of every country in the world. It displays this information visually, and in real-time. I built the presentation in Flash, using graphics that I made in Photoshop.
Since it was uploaded in October 2006, Breathing Earth has received over 900,000 visitors, has been mentioned on numerous websites, articles and blogs, and has been installed as part of Vancouver's Science World exhibition.
Calling
Like most of my pieces, this was made using Photoshop CS3 and a wacom tablet
Exorcism
Made using Photoshop CS3 and a wacom tablet
Animation: Gabriel
This is is a personal project where I made an animated music video using the great Lamb song "Gabriel". It's a preliminary version, and still needs more work, though I don't know when I'll get the chance to finish it - so until then, here it is. I created all of the deep sea creatures in Photoshop and animated them using After Effects. Click the image above and turn your volume up - and please note that there are a few seconds of black silence at the beginning.
The song "Gabriel" was written by Lamb (Lou Rhodes and Andy Barlow), and is published by Warnerchappell Music Publishing Ltd; sound recording owned by Universal Music Ltd.
The Last Supper
Made using Illustrator CS3 and a wacom tablet.
Ravetopia
A website design proposal for a fictional (ie. non-existent) rave-culture themed website.
Orbis Mentis
A kind of allegorical self-portrait, in the form of an old-style map.
Self-Portrait as clouds
Made using Photoshop CS3
Succubus
Made using Photoshop CS3 and a wacom tablet for a scissor-themed project in my illustration class.
Still Life
Sometimes we're only fully alive when we're still. Made using Photoshop CS3 and a wacom tablet
Website: Design Progress

Despite the name, this is a completed and fully functional Flash website (though it's missing some content, as explained below). All up, it probably took some 50 hours to make, and has lots of little animations. It was a website proposal for my multimedia class' end-of-year exhibition. Each student made one, and after voting, one was selected to be the official exhibition website. It is a demo only, so it only showcases 3 students' work, and clicking the little thumbnails does not actually bring up the work. So please just enjoy the interface itself.
Epiphany
Digital painting, made using Illustrator and Photoshop.
Do Androids Dream of Electric Beaches?
This was made for a photo-manipulation contest on DeviantART.com where we needed to make something interesting using photos of this guy with a robot mask on. Made in Photoshop.
